On 21 October 2016, Malaysian Interior Industry partners, their families and friends gathered at the Grand Ballroom of Hilton Hotel KL Sentral for a grand dinner to celebrate the second year of the MIIP Interior Industry Awards and to rejoice together with the winners. And what a night it was! – with the lovely Amanda as Emcee and sultry Adrienne, entertaining the crowd with jazzy numbers. Guest of Honour was Datuk Henry Sum Agong, Deputy Minister of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism. The other VIP guest was Dato’ Ir Ahmad Asri Bin Abdul Hamid, CEO of CIDB.

The highlight of the evening was of course the announcement of the winners of the MIIP 2016 Awards. Participation for the Awards was open to all members in June and on the closing date in September, a total of 41 entries were received! Judging was on 21 September and the esteemed judges had a hard time deciding on the final awardees – all entries were so competitive and reflective of the professionalism of their work.
